Advocacy

The Dumbo Improvement District advocates on behalf of DUMBO to government agencies and elected officials for support of capital projects for the development of DUMBO as a world-class waterfront destination. The Improvement District raises funds and secures resources for capital projects to rehabilitate DUMBO’s streetscapes, water systems, underutilized public spaces and transportation infrastructure. District staff strives to maintain open lines of communication with the community to constantly bringing their issues and concerns to the attention of the appropriate parties, resulting in noticeable changes and improvements in DUMBO.
